Practice Logistics & What to Bring

Swim Experience & Lane Placement: We ask that all swimmers have the ability to swim at least 200 yards (eight lengths) freestyle without stopping (face-in-water, side breathing). Please arrive at the pool 10 to 15 minutes early and introduce yourself to the on-deck coach. They will ask about your swim background and help match you with a lane. If after warm-up you feel you should be in a faster or slower lane, you are always free to move up or down to suit your pace!

What to Bring: Bring a swimsuit, cap, goggles, combination lock, towel, and water bottle. There is limited equipment available at our facilities, so if you have your own kickboard, pull buoy, or paddles, you are welcome to bring them to use.
