STEPS TO JOIN MINNESOTA ICE:

NOTE: ON NOVEMBER 1, 2025, MN ICE WILL NO LONGER REQUIRE REGISTRATION WITH USMS AND WILL BECOME SELF-INSURED.

1. Register or Renew your United States Masters Swimming (USMS) membership. 

USMS provides our general liability insurance during practices. Every person in the pool needs to be a member of USMS or this liability insurance is voided. You must have a USMS member number to purchase a membership.

Workout Group: Minnesota Ice Swim Club (MNICE)

2. Purchase your Minnesota Ice membership.

Membership fees are non-refundable. 

When you register, you will be charged the monthly fee immediately. Thereafter, monthly memberships will automatically renew every month on the day of purchase and charge your card on file until you cancel your membership. Please notify us at minnesotaiceswim@gmail.com if and when you cancel.

3. We encourage all swimmers to familiarize themselves with our Swim Practice Etiquette and Terminology

Minnesota Ice Swim Club is committed to being an accessible team for ALL swimmers. If you are interested in joining the team, but have financial limitations, please reach out to us at minnesotaiceswim@gmail.com

MEMBERSHIP FEES

We offer five types of membership.

Adult Membership:

$35 monthly

Young Adult (25&U)/Full-Time Student Membership:

$30 monthly

BIPOC/Trans/Non-Binary Membership:

$30 monthly

Drop-In Membership:

$7 a practice

This option is perfect for those who aren’t in town much, or for people who are members of other masters teams but want to enjoy a practice with Minnesota Ice. You must sign our Liability Waiver and confirm with us prior to attending.

Competition Only Membership (Annual):

$40 for swimmers who register for IGLA+/Gay Games or other meets as a Minnesota Ice Team Member, but do not attend our practices.
